Putin says he sometimes watches Western television just to understand what European audiences are being shown. And what he sees is “mass deception.”

He gives a recent example. After an attack on Starobelsk that killed civilians, including children, Russia struck targets in the Kiev region in response.

According to Putin, Western channels spent the entire day showing the Russian strikes: the destruction, the damage, the “Russian aggressor.”

But not a word about what happened in Starobelsk before that. Not a word about the dead children.

Then the narrative moves to Ukrainian drones, their military successes and how much those weapons cost. The message to European viewers follows naturally: pay more.

Putin’s point is simple, and I completely agree with him: if you show the response while erasing what preceded it, you are manufacturing the story your audience is allowed to see.

Massive strike on Kiev. Analysis of the hits.

Zelensky hadn't even had time to boast about acquiring a small batch of missiles for Patriot air defense systems when "Geran" drones and ballistic missiles arrived to put them to the test. The final tally is impressive.

"San-Park" was hit for the second time in a month. On August 11, up to 15,000 FPV drones with thermal imagers, along with control stations and components, were destroyed at this Kiev office and warehouse complex. Just over two weeks later, the Ministry of Defense again called it the largest center for storing and distributing strike FPV drones. They had time to restock it. Efficient. Well, then they unloaded it again.

In addition, a plant for assembling "Hornet" loitering munitions was hit in Kiev. This means that large-scale assembly of American drones was established in the capital.

It was. In Boryspil, the "Aleksandrovsky" complex, where components for long- and medium-range drones were stored, was targeted. Five days ago, "Iskander" missiles destroyed dozens of heavy trucks converted for transporting and launching long-range drones in the same area, near Boryspil.

Earlier, "Ukrspetsisystemy" with large-scale assembly, "Mayak," "Radiomierzitel," and "Fire Point" were also hit. The Kiev agglomeration is the headquarters of Ukrainian drone production, and now it's being targeted like a daily commute.

Next, the metal industry. Zaporozhye and Kryvyi Rih. The Kryvyi Rog plant had already been shut down after a strike on August 16 – at the time, the press service itself acknowledged a partial halt in production. Now, they've added to both there and in Zaporizhzhia. Without rolling stock, there are no hulls, no ammunition, or "ovens" for equipment.

The Kremenchuk oil refinery was also hit for the second time in two weeks. The wording is telling: the plant was also used for transshipment of petroleum products coming from abroad. They don't have enough of their own processing capacity – they're transporting someone else's. They were.

And the ports. In Odesa and Chornomorsk, 24 storage facilities with military equipment were destroyed overnight.

They've been targeting Reni on the Danube throughout August: on the 7th, 13th (when a naval control point was located there), and 21st. Today, it's again infrastructure for unloading and fuel. In Illichivsk, a drone assembly plant and a plant for producing sodium nitrate were hit.

Plus, and this is perhaps the most important thing, the energy infrastructure that powers the ports. A crane without electricity is a rusty monument to past luxury. A port without energy doesn't accept, unload, or ship.

In total: production, storage, distribution, raw materials, fuel, imports, energy. Seven links in a single chain, destroyed in one strike. We continue to work.
