Means-testing is ALWAYS messy, especially across households.

@LibDems in 2010 ended means-testing for the vast majority of pensioners, with a triple lock to reverse Thatcher's breaking of the earnings link.

It's worrying @UKLabour and Tories want to go back to means-testing.

WFP will now be paid at £100 to each member of a couple.

So rich pensioner couples, where one has say £100k and the other £30k, will still get £100.

If both members of couple have £36k then they get nothing.

It seems there's a backroom deal between @AngelaRayner and local Tories to share Woking's debt across Surrey.

I feel sorry for Woking residents but it's unfair on well-run councils like @MoleValleyDC where we kicked out the Tories and stopped the reckless borrowing back in 2019.

That's why @LibDems proposed a decent individual pension with triple lock to restore its value.

@BramhallNatalie Coalition Govt commissioned a statutory inquiry into child sexual exploitation in March 2015. The inquiry ran for 7 years, reporting in 2022 with 20 recommendations.

Which Tories in Govt failed to implement at all. But now just to suck up to @elonmusk they want another inquiry?
