Mrs P says the 12 day strech I was away from a studio is the longest in…ever? We’re not sure. It’s been awhile. We had the sons, the DILs, and the grandkids all together, in a house by the big Lake they call Gitche Gumee. Rolled out of Wisconsin back home again just ahead of today’s terrible tornadoes, in a reminder Ma Nature never takes a day off. Back in most places tomorrow, and the rest later this week. Thanks to all my partners for covering my shows and weather updates. Happy to be back!

Sorry to hear about Janie Hodges, one of the remaining links to the classic Channel 4 in Indy that I got to be a small part of. She was still on when I got there in the 80s. I got to interview her and Cowboy once on the WRTV morning show in the later 90s. Saw her at an event about ten years ago. Sweet lady. Part of the Holy Trinity at 4: Cowboy Bob, Janie, and Sammy Terry. 😀 (and Bob Knight in the Fall and Winter lol.) So many characters in the Bluff Road building. I miss that. Only a half hour of news, which I think is what we still have now, but it just goes on longer, know what I mean?
