Zarządca budynku wypowiedział umowę najmu Fundacji Al-Fadżr, a od sierpnia lokal ma zostać przekazany nowemu najemcy.

Przed budynkiem odbył się protest mieszkańców i środowisk narodowych, którzy sprzeciwiali się funkcjonowaniu miejsca, w którym regularnie odbywały się muzułmańskie modlitwy, mimo że lokal formalnie działał jako „centrum kultury”.

Podczas zgromadzenia policja interweniowała wobec kontrmanifestantów organizujących niezgłoszony protest.

🚨Umowa najmu wypowiedziana – w lokalu przy ul. Dworskiej w Krakowie działał nielegalny meczet

W Krakowie na osiedlu Podwawelskim zakończyła się sprawa kontrowersyjnego lokalu przy ul. Dworskiej 1. Zarządca budynku wypowiedział umowę najmu Fundacji Al-Fadżr jeszcze przed protestem narodowców. Od sierpnia lokal będzie dostępny dla nowego najemcy – niebędącego centrum muzułmańskim.

Protest, kt��ry odbył się w poniedziałek 6 lipca, zgromadził ok. 150-200 osób. Narodowcy i mieszkańcy sprzeciwiali się działaniu miejsca, w którym regularnie odbywały się muzułmańskie modlitwy – mimo że formalnie było to „centrum kultury”. Fundacja podkreślała legalność działalności, ale mieszkańcy zarzucali brak transparentności i brak konsultacji z lokalną społecznością.

Policja interweniowała wobec kontrmanifestantów, którzy zorganizowali niezgłoszone zgromadzenie.

Dzięki determinacji mieszkańców i presji publicznej „saga meczetowa” na Podwawelskim dobiegła końca. Lokal wraca do normalnego użytku.
