Hey X, Iโm Paul ๐
- Intern turned โAI guyโ at a sports tech startup in NYC
- Our clients: FIFA, NBA teams, Premier League clubs..
- Building the AI system our revenue team runs on
- Posting my agent setup (Claude Code, Hermes, OpenClaw, Grokbot), what works and what breaks
Also: half-French, half-Taiwanese, but my Spanish beats my Chinese ๐ฅด (sorry mom), used to work in fashion, love photography and (cuban) salsa
Come say hi if you relate to any of the above!
every week thereโs a new post trying to draw a hard line between developers and vibe coders and honestly itโs just gatekeeping from people who think they still have an insane edge
truth is the gap keeps closing. with the volume of PRs created and reviewed every day and more and more codebases read mostly by agents, code needs to be understandable for agents more than for humans
vibe coding only means no skills and shit code if you vibe code like a headless chicken with no direction nor structure. otherwise you learn to think way more about how you frame your repo and your code: rules, context, how you want it to evolve, tracking open work etc
itโs driven by functionality and made by agents for agents. in that sense we might be more effective than devs who think theyโre better because they can read 4 lines of js (that I didnโt read btw)
