@QLDTrafficMetro Could I offer this suggestion re future Moggill Ferry Updates: See image attached. If the Ferry is out of action, it is not “Emergency roadworks”. “No delays expected” is misleading.A long delay if you wait for the ferry to restart.Or a 20+ min extra trip via Mt Crosby or Kenmore
@QLDTrafficMetro Why continue to refer to the closure of the Moggill Ferry as “Emergency Roadworks”? And “No delays expected”? Actually long delays for commuters forced to travel via Kenmore or Mt Crosby. The descriptions are misleading.
@BOM_Qld should look at the remarkable reported temperatures in Hervey Bay this morning. At 6am it was 11.5° and at 6:30, B.O.M. says it was 12.0°. But at 6:22am, it was a very chilly reported temperature of minus 1.5°. 🥶🥶🥶 @geo_seymour@couriermail@abcbrisbane
Pauline Hanson’s floated the idea of a coalition with the Liberals after the 2028 election. But Ipswich’s already leading the way with an unusual coalition-style hookup of One Nation aficionado & @river949 breakfast radio announcer & local political dyed-blue Liberal @river949fm
@QldPolice May I suggest that where there are multiple identical place names in Queensland, that QPS identifies which specific one is being reported. For example, Newtown in Ipswich and Toowoomba. White Rock in Ipswich and Cairns and West End in Brisbane and Townsville.

This morning, I attended the Goodna Special School in Queen St Goodna for their 2025 #ANZAC Day Service.
The Member for Bundamba @LanceMcCallumMP was also in attendance. It was a great tribute by the students, staff & parents to the original ANZACs at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.
This morning I attended the Woodcrest State College #ANZAC Day service for 2025. It was a very moving ceremony and the students were involved and very attentive throughout. In attendance were @MiltonDickMP Federal Member for Oxley and @charismullenmp, State Member for Jordan.
@Seqwater has issued misleading advice to the public today at 7:12am. One paragraph says Colleges Crossing will be inundated following today’s releases. The next paragraph says it’s not expected to inundate Colleges Crossing.
@JBHiFi has another special deal: $30 off if you spend over $300! According to the fine print, it doesn’t apply to purchases at their airport stores or to 16 major products/services. Spend $301 & get $30 off, almost 10%. Spend $1301, still get only $30 off, a “generous” 2.3% off.
