"Dr Abati you were in government when Sanusi Lamido was screaming that any government that succeeds Goodluck Jonathan will face economic headwinds because of subsidy. By 2014, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said that Nigeria was broke... If we had removed subsidy 10, 12 years ago, we wouldn't be where we are today." — Political Scientist, Obafemi George

Chevron and TotalEnergies are set to start drilling campaigns later this year.
For Chevron , there will be an infill drilling of Agbami field expected to raise production output. An appraisal well is also planned at Ikija field. First oil is expected in 2032, with the field to be developed as a tie-back to the Agbami FPSO.
TotalEnergies is on course to mobilise a rig for an extensive drilling campaign that will start with the Akpo Far East exploration well in the second half of this year. Akpo Far East is estimated to hold about 144 million barrels of crude oil. Successful exploration drilling will utilise existing infrastructure, including the Akpo FPSO. TotalEnergies will also restart Akpo and Egina infill drilling, having paused this in the third quarter of 2025 while it examined seismic data.

@egi_nupe Someone among the top men in that ADC is working against the coalition by driving them from one desert to another looking for water.
Instead they shld vet their legal team & lawyers, they were pushing blame on APC to gain sympathy from gullible Nigerians on & off Social media.
An application was filed to obtain an ex parte order against you, the court said no, put the other party on notice. Then the other party who was put on notice rushed to the court of appeal and the court of appeal said go back to the lower court and continue the business there, with an accelerated hearing, in view of the nature of the suit and time for the election.
Now you are going to the Supreme Court. To do what? Is this not an abuse of judicial process? Is that not a bastardisation of judicial system? Does not raise serious disciplinary issues that the professional body should be up to deal with?
This is a party I nurtured. Nobody knew what ADC was. We already wrote to the U.S. embassy about them trying to hijack our party. Our letter was written on 19th March 2026 and was received on 23rd March 2026 - Hon. Leke Abejide, ADC Congress Man
