My first tattoo , one of the most powerful message in Sikhism -without fear, without hatred . A constant reminder to myself and everyone around me - that you only live life once , live it without any fear and hatred for anyone ❤️
In 2019, a teenager was left with her jaw attached by just a centimetre of skin after a horror horse riding accident. Emily Eccles suffered one of the worst facial injuries her doctors had ever seen outside a war zone after an exhaust popping on a car spooked her horse.
The then 15-year-old, smashed her head into a gatepost as she fell off after the horse bolted along a country path, causing her feet to slip out of her stirrups.
She found herself holding what remained of the bottom of her face in her own hands.
Her reconstructive surgeon Ricardo Mohammed-Ali rebuilt her face during a 6-hr operation.
Turns out the right bronchus is completely occluded , and the trachea and left bronchus is partially occluded . My heart breaks for him . Hope this time round a biopsy can be done fast and an emergency intervention for this mass can be made. Let’s hope for the best
I had a 17 years old patient last night , an active smoker for one year. Came to me with sudden onset of shortness of breath and felt like he was being choked . A month ago , he was admitted for asthma and a chest x ray done that time showed a mass over his right apical lung
The issue lied not with intubating , but with ventilating as the chest x ray showed how rapidly expanding the growth was . This child was surviving with only one functional lung . Anaes took this patient into icu, but they performed an awake intubation in OT.
Princess Diana shook hands with an AIDS patient without gloves in 1991. This was groundbreaking at the time because many people didn't fully understand how HIV was spread.
Consequently, those with the disease often had to spend time alone in AIDS wards.
Diana visited several of these wards to meet the patients. She expressed her feelings towards the patients: "I had always wanted to hug people in hospital beds."
She recounted a particular incident to Morton, saying, "This particular man who was so ill started crying when I sat on his bed, and he held my hand. I thought, 'Diana, do it, just do it,' and I gave him an enormous hug. It was so touching because he clung to me and cried."

I protected a difficult airway by successfully intubating that patient , then reverted his unstable fast af . I broke a spasm of a severe asthma ( arrived in a state that required intubation) but I gave time and said bipap will help. Now he’s on VM.
@ThorsMyuh_Myuh The only way to find out is to try the next time a case such as this is referred 😇. Simple , you don’t want the case , reject. You want, accept. But don’t mock them , we are all learners at the end of the day😇
@ThorsMyuh_Myuh I agree , maybe he/she should brush up on his/ her hx taking. I also agree those referrals are not indicated . But ur statement was very generalising .every expert was once a beginner , if he/she is wrong, don’t mock , instead guide them. After all they r referring for your input
@ThorsMyuh_Myuh I agree this referrals are bad .but saying ‘you all really doctor or what’ isn’t nice . We are learning after all .Maybe you should do Ed rotation 1 day, let’s see how well verse you are with medical ortho Paeds ent Ophtal anaes etc knowledge then you might revert your statement
