We spent three intensive days at UCHO 2026 in Kajetany, Poland.

We represented https://t.co/08XbP0bmBR / TRIBE TINNITUS and focused mainly on tinnitus, hearing diagnostics, AI and new technologies in audiology.

A few key takeaways:

AI and mobile applications are becoming a real part of audiology, especially in patient education, home support, screening and analysis.
At the same time, general-purpose AI still has a serious credibility problem. In one presented study, even the best tested model returned correct scientific references only about half of the time. Medical AI needs verified sources and strong quality control.
Tinnitus in children received significant attention, especially diagnostics, psychological support and red flags such as unilateral, asymmetric or pulsatile tinnitus.
Bimodal neuromodulation with Lenire was presented as one of the existing approaches to reducing tinnitus symptoms.
There is still a major gap between managing tinnitus and actually eliminating it.

This last point is probably the most important for us.

For many patients, tinnitus is not a minor inconvenience. It can severely affect sleep, mental health, work and everyday life. Yet most current approaches are still focused on reducing symptoms and helping patients cope.

We also missed a dedicated session on the major unsolved challenges in tinnitus, especially in adults, and a stronger invitation for researchers, engineers and startups to work together on new solutions.

Byłem na Biznes Misji, żeby sprawdzić, czy takie wydarzenia mają sens dla osób, które wychodzą z korporacji, budują własny biznes albo szukają nowego kierunku.

Co było OK:
- panele z prawdziwymi polskimi przedsiębiorcami, kontakt z ludźmi prowadzącymi realne firmy i możliwość poczucia pulsu polskiego biznesu poza Internetem.

Co jest do korekty:
- gastronomia była zbyt skromna jak na całodniowy event - słabe kanapki, słaba kawa i jeden foodtruck z dwoma stolikami koktajlowymi.

Moja ocena: warto, ale nie jako „magiczne networkingowe wydarzenie”. Warto, jeśli idziesz z planem, wiesz z kim chcesz porozmawiać i potrafisz krótko powiedzieć, co robisz.
