@Rainmaker1973 It looks like Michael has the main canopy “cutaway handle” assembly in his right hand. That means Michael’s main canopy malfunctioned and he released it prior to deploying his reserve.
It appears that Michael experienced a double malfunction. Terrible luck!
@Brick_Suit The risk associated with wingwalking is much more manageable.
The risk associated with wingsuit proximity flying is better aligned with living in a democratically run chithole city. 😁
@mike1hanson I believe that @derrickvanorden is an avid motorcyclist.
Derrick runs a sidecar rig now. He’s previously posted images with a Softail Slim and of riding around his district. I assume that these are his personal machines. I’d make the short hop to carve up the twolane with him.
@Rainmaker1973 Sensory bandwidth allocation exercise.
Vision can consume 80%+ of available sensory bandwidth. Learning to focus your vision frees up bandwidth for the other senses.
@scs_real The big hurdle would be to dial back emission standards to accommodate these mechanical engine controls.
Next is the frequency of service and repair. The manual listed 10k to 15k mile intervals; half of that was not uncommon…and the new components begin wearing immediately.
@BadgedPatriot This little bar on Hebgen Lake is staffed by a couple of frisky female bartenders.
Check out the size of the equipment stuck to the window, just to the left of the two people in the photo.
Not sure what happens there around closing time. Don’t wanna know. 😁
@unseen1_unseen The shop did a great job on Suze’s car. The universal concept of go with what you know applies. In this case I’ve found a new goto body shop.
