@mak_ronii@RupertLowe10 That causes capital flight.. in other words, they'd just leave the country and take their money with them. Better we keep taxes low and encourage the rich to invest it here instead of the Bahamas
@Depheruk@RishiSunak@BBCBreakfast@GranadaReports The government is the cause of the cost of living crisis. They printed too much money which has caused all this inflation. Asking the government for more help is like making a deal with the devil. They'll only print more money. Our nation is £3 Trillion in the hole.
@Pontifex It is precisely government interference that is causing those very dangers. (E.g. vast money printing programs). This socialism is getting tiresome. God made it clear we should not put our trust in the leaders of men. But in him.
@MacleodFinance I dont think the Bitcoin crowd will ever understand the importance of tangibility. Gold is an element, it is a building block of our reality. It exists in the real world. Bitcoin is an ephemeral man made construct that can be replicated ad infinitum by competitor cryptos.
@Frank_Giustra@mcuban@PeterSchiff Gold is an element. It is a building block of our reality, with real world uses and therefore real world value. Bitcoin has no physical properties. It is neither real nor unique. Therefore it holds no true value.
@HRGPFOREVER Yep. But the only help they can provide is to allow businesses to open. Their so called 'Stimulus' option is merely hyperinflation by another name.
@CAFOD Who defines hate speech? Many would define Catholic doctrine as hate speech. What you are signing up for is the elimination of free speech, the corner stone of liberty. This is not the moral path.
@MacleodFinance Hi Alasdair - Quick question... how badly will this dollar collapse (and coming crisis) affect other western nations like the UK? Will the pound survive?
