i built a tool called "ritmo" for myself back in 2023 because grabbing sounds from browser tabs, analyzing bpm/key, and organizing samples while producing still somehow meant virtual audio cables, routing setups, sketchy converter sites, and separate tools.

eventually i decided to release it publicly, and recently overhauled it with a rewritten bpm/key dsp engine, real-time fx, searchable sound library management, and a scale-aware virtual piano for quick harmonic verification by ear.
