Bringing this painting to the White House feels like a continuation of his lifelong mission. It ensures that the face, the voice, and the sacred geography of Native people remain a part of the narrative of American leadership.

An achievement like this was hardly a solo journey. God is woven into all the details. He keeps me in awe and forever shaking my head with a smile. Big schisms developing between House and Senate Republicans on SAVE America Act that threatens bipartisan housing bill and maybe FISA. Rep. Luna says the Senate is having “a show debate. They’re literally tap-dancing … I think they’re going to get primaried.”
