@TheWolfofREI It's called greed.
Remember, EVERYONE had to make a sacrifice - we are all in it together malarkey.
Now, instead trying to squeeze every $ out a bad situation, prices came back to somewhat normal - a lot of biz would generate brand stickiness the likes of which they haven't seen
@CREgir1 My experience it's shoes and purses in that order.
Everyone needs a high-end something (as can be afforded)
Yes, it's about brand, but it's also about adding a spring in ur step and an air of confidence.
@JoeCassandra Scheme regs allow a fee - subject to State law.
Its gets really technical as to when and where applied.
Ex: surcharge is not technically allowed on a Debit cd - but on CC.
Visa rule change = only actual 3rd pty costs are allowed to be passed.
Be happy to get into minutia.

@fiatjaf I never looked upon it as individual real time settlement.
In my payments architectural designs that use lightning, I always look at it as settlement between aggregation points. In that use case, lightning will be a game changer.
@Codie_Sanchez My hobby(s) if you will are:
Woodworking
Motorcycle riding
Hiking
Fishing / Hunting (w/camera)
Each allow me to unplug in different ways - can't tell you how many epiphany moments come from the hobbies.
@gregleos@flexport@typesfast That should be the minimum...
Heads at Flexport should roll over this brand / reputation CF.
Takes a long time to build a brand and only a single F up to destroy it - let's see if they bury it and hope it goes away OR proactively take the hit and do right...
@BowTiedMara It is 💯% for real. Although, it says, if I remember correctly, illegal gambling proceeds etc...
IRS is not a law enforcement agency like the police - they only care about revenue and tax collection.
They got Capone on tax evasion.
@culturaltutor And it has a lot to do with the builders were, in fact, ship builders - used to working on narrow confines.
Having lived in Haarlem NL and frequently in Amsterdam - you can see the maritime influences throughout the cities.
Also, most have a lg window on each flr to load/unload.
@JulieChangRE For me. Explore the surrounding mountains and trails.
At night, drive about an hour+ outside of Santa Fe into the mountains - stop the car and look up - just look up 🙂
✨🌌 and then remember, it's only a small part of the vastness.
Everyone should be given the opp to see the 🌌
@antonia_mdprjct Same in my #payments architecture world.
The apps, software, servers, are the easy part - the 'let's get out the checkbook' aspect is putting it all together in a, my case, optimized design.
@TheJerzWay The marriagemust be disclosed
The IRS will dig deep to make sure you are not hiding foreign assets under the non-US person.
I know a few ppl that got caught up in it - and it's not pretty.
Can it be done? Sure.
But it's not cut and dried - and needs to planned with an expert
@MyLatinLife GUY is where I'm designing a #fintech#payments initiative focusing on the un/under banked plus
Building out xBorder on-us from a region perspective + the INR component.
So I keep a close eye on
GYD:USD
GYD:CAD
GYD:GBP
Main trading partners
@TheJerzWay It is a black hole that needs to be investigated as part of your set up.
Depending - FACTA or FBAR could be triggered.
Don't play around in this area.
Get solid advice.
I know a few folks that got caught in this net - US person married to a non-US person.
It's complicated
@walkyoutowealth Trust me - I'm at the same point in life.
But when I was younger, that's what mentor said:
"There will always be someone that'll pick up the phone - how much do you want it?"
