Good showing this weekend at the DC East Coast Nationals finishing 3rd overall. Congrats to our own Charlee Kelly (‘25 NC A&T commit) for her two shut outs, Maddi Altieri (‘25 Belmont Abbey commit) for her 2-run bomb, Emily Murphy (‘25 Western Carolina commit) for her walk off 3-run bomb, Kynlee Dextraze (‘25 Lenoir-Rhyne commit) for her solo shot, and Payton Elwell (‘26 Hough HS) for her grand slam!! Great week last week for a few of our players! Congrats to our own Payton Elwell (‘26 Hough HS) for eclipsing the century mark for strikeouts this season (which included an immaculate inning - 9 pitches, 3 strikeouts), to Emily Murphy (Western Carolina commit) for eclipsing the career 100 hit milestone AND hitting a big bomb, and to Adriana Lamantia (Lenoir-Rhyne commit) for adding another blast to her record books! Pretty good weekend at the Super 60 in Raleigh going 4-1, but plenty of room for improvement. Congrats to our own Lane Arthur (‘26 Weddington HS) and Payton Elwell (‘26 Hough HS) for their combined 3 hit shut out performance in game 1, to Payton for her 3 run bomb in game 1, and to Charlee Kelly (NC A&T commit) for her 2 hit shutout performance in game 5!
