Happy Holidays, everyone and thank you for a great year!🌴
Thank you especially to our teachers and staff for another successful year of joyously serving hundreds of adult learners of the city of @Wellingtonflgov community & beyond.

I am deeply grateful for our incredible teachers, dedicated staff, supportive upper leadership, outstanding students, caring parents, and the @Wellingtonflgov.
I want to extend my heartfelt wishes for a warm and joyful Thanksgiving to all our stakeholders.
The School District of Palm Beach County wishes you and your family a happy Thanksgiving Break! As a reminder, all District schools and offices will be closed Monday, November 25, through Friday, November 29, for Thanksgiving Break. Students and staff will return on Monday, December 2.
What a beautiful night of celebrating with our students at the annual Essay Reception. They loved the event and they really love that someone reads their essay AND write each of them a personal note. Thank you @literacypbc.

Happy World Kindness Day! In the spirit of Fred Rogers, let’s remember that “Sometimes, all it takes is one kind word to nourish another person.” Today, let’s try to share kindness—one word at a time. Who can you uplift with a simple compliment or a caring message?
Three of our Intro to Culinary #IELCE students, long after class ended, were in the parking lot sharing things Chef Garcia is teaching them. Isn't an evidence of learning the ability to teach something you learned to someone else? Go Chef Garcia!✨ Yes they can!

All District schools and offices are closed tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10. School District staff should not report to work unless directed to do so by their supervisor. After the storm passes, our crews will assess campuses to make sure schools are safe for students and staff to return.
Our goal is to reopen schools and offices on Friday, October 11. An announcement on school operations for Friday will be made by Thursday evening.
We encourage everyone in our community to prepare for the potential impacts of Hurricane Milton and to pay attention to announcements from the Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center.
Today is #YouMatterToMe Day ❤️ Let your friends know you care. Support & following up with loved ones are just some of the actions we can all take to help others who may be in crisis

Our #ABE#GED#ESOL students submitted a total of 25 Essays. With the level of busyness since week 1, we are proud that they were able to still participate. Thank you @literacypbc and @ACEofPBC@9039LisaA for providing an authentic audience for our learners' writing practice.
If you're going to learn English, why not learn it within the context of the pathway of your dreams? Our very own Chef Garcia is equipping our adult #ESOL learners with career specific language for success in a current job or in an IET or CTE course in the future. @pbcentralace
Our ASB RLA ESOL in-person and online students discuss setting goals for the future. Here they are applying reasoning through language arts and English language proficiency skills while also building critical workplace skills.
Oh yes, they can. We will help! @PBCentralACE
As a reminder, schools and District offices will be open tomorrow, Friday, September 27.
