signed up for a last minute lighting talk; I can now officially say I've given a chalk talk at Renyi (asterisk of course, it wasn't a full lecture lol)
Just finished 26 miles! I’ve door knocked about half of west Medford!
It’s a lot, but you gotta show up, show that you care and to earn peoples support!
It's an April Fools joke but a true one. Everything on those billboards was actually proposed in 1947.
It's only a joke now because of how unbelievable it is that we'd actually do it.
Let's go deep on how we broke America's first subway and how to fix it.
@RanthonyClark I'm very much the same regarding rearranging! I organize all my talks in a semi-modular way just in case last minute a new way to package it comes to mind. Especially with chalk talks where the audience's questions can guide a whole other way to approach the presentation!
i get people complaining about how short the final battle with vecna is, but let's face it the general public is not ready for a multi hour long battle (as it would take in actual DND). Most DND bosses involve chipping away at HP, strategy, and trying not to die and that happened
When I was 10 my parents left me to watch television unattended and I tuned in to a daytime movie where Vin Diesel had to go drill into an asteroid and he throwaway brags that he was “the top of his class at MIT” which I’d never heard of but decided then that I ought to check out
