👍Well done @SallyAnn1066 this is NO surprise to me as I’ve raised this organisation & spoken directly to them about the upset & anger, I’ve had from parents & teachers about poor running of schools in my patch & more again coming in now this is public‼️

@mimsdavies@SallyAnn1066 After our experience we are NOT at all surprised either @mimsdavies . @mimsdavies have you also submitted an FOI request into GAG pooling for schools run by @UOBAcademies in mid-Sussex?

Hope everyone at @BlackthornsPri had a wonderful easter break.
Let's hope all the children skip to school today for days of learning full of such joy.

Thank you to all who donated to Thank you Thursdays - here’s a reminder of how your money helped brighten this term for staff at @BlackthornsPri.

To conclude our Thank you Thursdays, we are sending the wonderful staff of @PBlackthorns off on their Easter break with a book & bespoke bookmark as a reminder of how much we care.

Thank you Thursday this week were some delicious brownies from The Lindfield Brownie Company. We hope the wonderful staff at @BlackthornsPri enjoy them!

We’d love to hear @UOBAcademies views on the @educationgovuk newly published white paper. As parents of children in one of your academies, we’d like to understand how you feel these changes to standards, regulations, and promises could rebuild our broken relationship?
@educationgovuk Something that might be useful for @UOBAcademies, after their treatment at staff at our @BlackthornsPri. A definite change of culture is needed.
@GuardianEdu This resonates given @UOBAcademies actions towards @Blackthornspri. They have neither shown interest in listening to the views of the community, nor explained their plans and any benefits to our children. Glad our campaign has initiated another DfE review into their governance.
“Parents deserve a lot more visibility and clarity over exactly what is being provided to their children”
A relevant article in today’s @Guardian given our recent experiences of @UOBAcademies actions towards @Blackthornspri. @mimsdavies

Thank you Thursday this week is some relaxing bath salts from local company, @TheChalkCircle. We thank the wonderful staff @BlackthornsPri and encourage them to kick back and relax after a taxing couple of months at the hands of @UOBAcademies
Another Thursday and a delicious treat from the Garden Chef at Missing Link Brewery for the wonderful staff at @BlackthornsPri staff. Just to show them how much parents/carers appreciate them going the extra mile for our children.

A slightly different gesture for Thank you Thursday this week, given the appalling situation in Ukraine. It's make us really appreciate how fortunate our children are to be so well cared for by the staff at @BlackthornsPri.

@warwickmansell @UOBAcademies Yes, as a whole community we are pursing getting an independent review into UoBAT's actions and behaviours. Their actions are irresponsible and have created real instability. This is our Local Board's most recent update which really highlights the complete breakdown of trust.
@warwickmansell But what happens when the multi-academy trust (in this case @UOBAcademies) totally ignore any challenge from Local Boards (see image) and leaves the whole community feeling anxious and betrayed. https://t.co/ojejoUdRyo
Really surprised & disappointed to learn that @UOBAcademies have been awarded a new school, given the actions and behaviours towards @blackthornspri recently.
@mimsdavies
An academy trust has been appointed to run a proposed new school in Burgess Hill.
@UOBAcademies will run the primary and secondary 'all-through' school which is planned as part of the Burgess Hill Northern Arc development of 3,500 homes.

@UOBAcademies On the contrary we are extremely concerned about @UOBAcademies involvement after your actions and behaviours towards @blackthornspri. This seems grossly negligent and indicates that staff, parents & children, are no longer at the centre of decisions. @mimsdavies@educationgovuk
@UOBAcademies @WSCCNews Really surprised & concerned to learn this considering the information that has been passed to regional offices relating to the operational integrity of @UOBAcademies & their lack of care for employees. This has been supported by MP @mimsdavies & her complaint to @educationgovuk
