Quick update on my concussion recovery: I’m following my doctor’s protocol and continuing to make good progress through each step. I was able to get outside for a 30-minute run the other day, and a good 45 min lifting session in today at the gym. Feeling really good!!

I’m staying patient, doing everything the right way, and looking forward to getting back to work as soon as the doctors clear me. 💪⚾️

My time at the Motor City Classic in Detroit came to an abrupt end today after I was hit in the face by a pitch. I was knocked unconscious and, for a short period of time, could not feel my arms.

This weekend had already been challenging for me at the plate, but I was looking forward to continuing to compete, making adjustments, and finishing strong before everything came to an unexpected end. I’m including a couple of my hits from the weekend, along with the video of the pitch that ended my tournament.

Thankfully, I have since been released from the hospital and was diagnosed with a concussion. I will see a neurologist on Monday to determine the next steps in my recovery.

I truly appreciate everyone who reached out to check on me and my parents. Your prayers, messages, and support mean more than you know.

I am praying there is nothing more serious and that I can safely return for my final tournament next weekend once I am medically cleared. A college coach had contacted me to say he was planning to come watch me play, so I am obviously disappointed, but my health and recovery have to come first.

This is a setback, but it will not define me. I will learn from it, work through it, and come back stronger. @IndianaNsr

Unfortunately we didnt make Bracket tmrw in the PG Best of the Midwest. I had a great weekend at the plate. Went 8-10, 7 sngls, 1 dbl, 3RBI. 3 Runs Scored, 3 BB, 1 HBP, 2 Sb. Continuing to improve myself, and be better at the plate! Headed to Detroit this coming week for the Motor City Showdown! Day 2 is in the books in the P.G. Best of the Midwest! Had another good day at the plate! Went 2-2, 1 HBP, 1SB, 1 Run Scored. Through day 2 combined Im 4-4, 1 bb, 1 hbp, 3 runs scored and 1 SB.
