Now @AmericanAir Twitter account seems to think they can explain away the terrible customer service instead of owning it. @AmericanAir, your reps screwed up and the airline industry is broken. Quit making excuses and fix things.
I was told by @AmericanAir CS rep that a hotel, a rental car, being booked on another airline were all impossible. I was not told to go to any in-airport CS help. My husband actually stepped out of line because the on phone CS rep seemed to be helping at first.
Now wondering if @AmericanAir CS reps are incentivized to avoid offering any vouchers to paying customers. Stranded over 24 hours, dealt with multiple CS reps, zero offers of anything getting comped. Even when I asked.
Over $1000 spent on tickets with @AmericanAir = 3 cancelled flights, 24-hour delay, horrendous customer service (in line and on phone for almost 4 total hours) to finally get booked on a flight we had been told wasn’t and option and turned out to have plenty of open seats.
@AmericanAir Funny things was, I was obviously frustrated but pleasant with @americanair CS rep while on the phone. Until it became obvious she had booked me and my husband on flights connecting through other airports which would just end up with us stranded in those other airports.
@AmericanAir@americanair rep never offered any vouchers, compensation or told me to visit any services in the airport for more or different kinds of help.
@AmericanAir It wasn’t the seamless trip I had planned. It certainly was @AmericanAir phone CS rep trying to punt me down the road and not deal with me
@AmericanAir Your CS rep on the phone told me that hotel and food vouchers weren’t possible. I asked to be flown into Cincinnati or Louisville and get a rental car voucher. I was told that wasn’t an option. Then I asked for a manager and got hung up on.
@AmericanAir Your rep hung up on me before escalating me to a manager. Currently still stuck in Charlotte with tickets that won't get us home tonight. I've been trying to work with your CS folks for almost 3 hours now. No voucher for hotel, rental car or food? No flights to home.
hey @AmericanAir ! I've been over 24 hours trying to get home and on the phone with your CS for almost 2 hours. Your CS people arranged flights to try to get me home, but those flights are getting delayed and will likely strand me in other cities.

In Maine, we have no voter ID laws, we have same day registration, we have no-excuse absentee voting, we have mail-in voting, we have early voting, we have 24/7 drop boxes.
And we have virtually no fraud.
Expanding ballot access doesn't encourage fraud; it encourages VOTING.
