Wab Kinew says he loves Avi Lewis.

So which of Avi's radical policies does he love the most?

No energy corridors? No pipelines? Nationalizing grocery stores and housing?

These are just some of the "eco-socialist" ideas that have made all other NDP leaders in Western Canada distance themselves from Avi Lewis — David Eby in BC, Naheed Nenshi in Alberta, and Carla Beck in Saskatchewan.

You cannot support strong social services without a strong economy.

And you can’t grow the economy by driving out business and investment.

The misguided ideology of Wab’s new boss stands in direct contrast to the leadership that Manitoba families need today.

Instead of taking accountability for shutting down a skilled trades school, the NDP government has now forced the school to rewrite their memo.

MITT’s original memo said “The Province of Manitoba has decided that MITT will wind down operations…”

In 8 months, the only update to come out of Wab Kinew’s new U.S. trade rep is:

Flagpoles are too expensive to ship.

Mind you, the NDP are paying him nearly $400K/year of taxpayer dollars.

Not a single trade deal or MOU for Manitoba to date.

If all that’s stopping him is office decor, I will personally send him my office’s flagpole.

The Kinew government took away a private business' permits because of the owner's political affiliation.

That is textbook authoritarianism.

Regardless of anyone’s politics, this is wrong.

Patrick Allard will not be a candidate in the upcoming election. As the Leader of the PC Party, I strongly condemn the post made yesterday by Mr. Allard.

Mr. Allard’s post was offensive and inappropriate, and does not reflect the values and priorities of Manitoba’s Progressive Conservatives.

After an emergency meeting, it was unanimously decided to immediately suspend Mr. Allard’s Party membership, and his position on the PC Board.

We will follow the appropriate process to assess Mr. Allard’s position as a member of the Board and a member of the Party.

Crown Royal isn’t just a Manitoba success story. It’s a Canadian success story known around the world.

I was on national television again this morning to do what Premier Kinew has yet to do: Advocate for Manitoba jobs and interprovincial cooperation.

As a fellow Progressive Conservative and proud Canadian, I am making the case to Premier Doug Ford that Ontario and Manitoba can work together to uplift both provinces and Canada as a whole.

Crown is the heartbeat of Gimli’s economy. To protect these livelihoods is to protect Canadian prosperity.
