@da5705 Ok bro, now take 20,000 athletes slightly below that level. Say 5% below that level. Start them in soccer at age 5. That’s the argument being made. It’s all hypothetical bullshit anyways.
@zazi0901@alexjmingolla Of course they would. There world class athletes. That’s the point we’re making. But yes this is all hypothetical. Reality is much tougher
@Peter_Bukowski It’s a combination of things. One is athletes funneling toward other sports. Another is development structure. Although I think as soccer becomes more popular in US more kids will gravitate toward it. Ergo more money, more development, more resources, etc.
@mattlabelle I mean you don’t believe we would? Yea that’s not how reality works, but just in population and sports culture I think if soccer was as popular as say basketball America would be dominate.
@alienweapons@GungaGalungaAce@ClayTravis Exactly. I think what’s going on in Miami should help. With Messi, Beckham involvement . There’s enough athletes in Florida inner cities to rival any country in world
@MurtiBingPill@gerardtbaker That’s what kills me. US soccer or trump doesn’t run fifa. There’s nothing wrong with them asking it to be reviewed. And fifa could have easily said no. Why would anyone be mad about US trying to help there players. It’s up to fifa to say no.
@fiago7 Officially because you’re not supposed to use slow motion replay to trigger a on field review. It’s to do with using the slow motion, to get the refs attention when nothing was initially called. Reality is prolly some shady stuff. In the end the right outcome. Never was a red
@Treelinius@Bumperpunk@CumbrianFella_ We literally escorted supplies to your country for years before we even officially entered war. You prime minister snuck out the country to meet Rosevelt to beg us to help.
