@GeoJC137@MichaelButtonX The masses don't repeat the history and anthropology they were fed in schools. They didn't learn or retain any history/anthropology in school, and so they are susceptible to pseudo-scholarship promoting half-baked lost civ theories on shaky evidence.
I generally agree with the pop artists and Dadaists that almost anything can be art: upside-down urinals, soup can labels, corporate logos, etc. But I draw the line at ads pretending to be podcast clips.
@nakedfoul Yeah, one of the few skippable tracks on the album. But "Subterranean Homesick Alien" is probably too complex for a rediscovery-via-TikTok arc.
@Joshstrangehill Chuck Garabedian for a guy running a Money-Saving seminar
Ray Patterson for a dedicated public servant
Hugh Parkfield for an upper-class British love interest
Gil Gunderson as a Willy Loman proxy
But Milhouse Van Houten has to be my favorite, both as a name and a character
@nakedfoul I'll add Van Morrison to the mix.
I also agree with The National and Tool takes (though I do like Tool, it's great driving music especially if you plan on staying in 2nd gear).
