When you turn 18, you automatically get signed in for voting and get your first envelope when it's time to vote. There is fraud sometimes but only at a very local level and it's always discovered.

The Kremlin bots are pushing an avalanche of lies as part of the attempt to bulldoze Western unity with the joke of a plan that Witkoff and Kushner concocted with 95% Kremlin input through Dmitriev.

Two lies stand out: (1) Ukrainians believe they have lost and want to make concessions but Zelenskyy is preventing that, and (2) Americans are tired of supporting Ukraine and want to see peace by imposing massve concessions on Ukraine.

Reality, per recent polls in Ukraine (https://t.co/jGTe7yUVvs):

76% of Ukrainians believe victory is possible with sufficient sanctions on Russia and continued military and financial support from the West.

75% categorically reject the Russian peace plan (which includes withdrawal from Donbas, and of which the U.S. monstrosity is a near carbon copy).

69% believe that if this plan is implemented, Russia will attack again.

74% support the European plan of a freeze along the lines of control, no formal recognition of the occupied territories, and security guarantees.

It’s important to note that this is a fairly serious change from the earlier positions that were more absolutist about recovery of territories. I have repeatedly stated that a freeze along LOC is likely the most realistic base-case scenario. Note that the Ukrainians do not like it (only 30% would consider it a success), and they still think Russia would attack in the future (56%). In other words, it’s a grudging acceptance that full recovery likely isn’t in the cards. At the same time, this also shows that Zelenskyy has no mandate to make any territorial concessions.

76% of Ukrainians are ready to continue the war without the US as long as Europe provides support and 62% are willing to keep fighting as long as it takes, 63% of men and 46% of women currently not serving are ready to join the military to defend the country if necessary, also contradicting the proxy war nonsense narrative.

As to the American attitudes, we have the October survey by the Vandenberg Coalition (https://t.co/QiI91hgTJc) that focuses on Trump supporters, which I think is quite revealing since they tend to be most skeptical about supporting Ukraine compared to non-MAGA Republicans, let alone Independents and Democrats.

So, among Trump supporters,

Only 16% support the demand for Ukraine to give up territories to end the war.

52% blame Putin for lack of ceasefire while only 13% blame Zelenskyy. One remarkable change is that while blame for Putin has remain stable, the blame for Zelenskyyhas declined from 20% in June. An even more remarkable finding is that the Trump supporters blaming Trump have gone up from 13% in June to 22% now.

Read this again: 22% of Trump supporters blame Trump for the lack of ceasefire while only 13% blame Zelenskyy.

76% support sanctions on Russia (only 11% oppose them). In fact, 48% think this is the best way to help Ukraine, with another 45% wanting to keep pressuring Europe to spend more on defense. Even among Trump supporters, 30% want to “sell or loan” weapons to Ukraine and 30% want to provide economic assistance.

Overall, only 16% do not want to help Ukraine (39% even thought providing Tomahawks was necessary to pressure Russia).

The bottom line is clear and emphatically so: Ukrainians want to defend their freedom and Americans want to help them. The pro-Kremlin maneuvering of the Trump administration does not reflect public opinion even among the Trump supporters (who continue to give Trump high marks on foreign policy because of other issues like Middle East and China). This — and the staunch bipartisan support for Ukraine both among Americans and our politicians — heavily constrains what Trump, Vance, Witkoff, and Colby can do when it comes to pro-Kremlin policies no matter how much they might want to do it.
