We can argue โGOATโ forever. But no disputing Bill Russell the greatest โWINNERโ ever. May you RIP. And thank you from ALL that followed for your excellence, leadership and true example of being a teammate
It was a mistake. The reference was made of my backcourt mate KP Kevin Porter who played for the Bullets, who is NOT his dad. Iโve known Glen for 20 years so I feel comfortable speaking of his character. He was NOT referring to the circumstances of this young manโs father.
Sam was a TRUE gentle man. Kind and friendly to all who befriended and approached him. Heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the Jones family. There wasnโt a game he wasnโt good at; golf, tennis, cards dominoes not to mention the round ball. RIP Sam, job well done.
A basketball icon. May he rest in peace.
We were honored to have Sam Jones on our podcast a little while back, where he shared stories from his playing days and how he was able to win 10 championships in his 12 year career.

@HonestLarry1 Chenier was an excellent player. Smooth, very good scorer. And a few years before him, that guy on the far left was pretty damn good too!
