Heather Cummings and Mary Ellen Gurewitz had their marching orders from Jocelyn Benson, the Michigan Bureau of Elections, and the Democrat party.

Imagine being so full of yourself, but then also playing so dumb, saying you don’t know what year the petition signer meant.

“Is that 2021? 2024? 2028?” they wondered.

Petition signers, aka Michigan voters, are supposed to be given the benefit of the doubt. The petition drive was not in any of those years, so that is obviously not what the signer meant or wrote.

What is unfair, Heather Cummings, is your treatment of over 700k Michiganians.

Where is Wayne County’s 2026 general election candidate list?

School and library board filing deadlines passed in mid-July. Oakland and Macomb Counties have posted their candidate lists. Wayne County still has not, and the information is not on the Secretary of State’s general election candidate list either.

A sincere thank you to Macomb County Clerk and Secretary of State candidate, @tonyforlini1, for showing what transparent, accessible election administration looks like. He is running for #Michigan #SecretaryofState this November, and this is exactly the level of competence and basic public service the SOS office needs. Once Tony is elected, this level of #customerservice will no longer be acceptable.

Yesterday - as is every day you are on the campaign trail - was very humbling.

Bob Genetski, Allegan Co Clerk and former State Representative (we served together) mentioned weeks ago he wanted to help me and offered to host a fundraiser. We took him up on his generous offer.

When I showed up yesterday to the event in Saugatuck, I was in awe to see so many long time friends and many of them current Elected Leaders there to rally around me for this race for Secretary of State.

It's one thing to say "good job buddy!" - it's another thing to give your time, energy, and financial support.

The best way I know to say thank you to Bob and all of you is to just keep working HARD to win in November.

I am humbled - and grateful - for your support.

But the way I feel is - a vote for me is really a vote for each of you and a better Michigan.

Wayne County Transit for All is the group who mailed multiple flyers to opt-out communities, deceitfully calling this new bus tax a renewal. Now, through campaign finance filings, it’s been revealed who is funding this huge tax take. Big money is pushing big taxes on regular people. And Lansing taking away local control in 2024 helped that happen.
