In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, The Archway in Kearney, NE, is hosting a festival called “The Big 250.” This collage, created by Lauren Bishop during her Independent Art class this past school year, was selected for their Americana art exhibition. It will be on display at The Archway between June 13-21, 2026.

It’s #ThrowbackThursday…and Day #2 of the State Golf Meet. In honor of that, here’s a look back at the Plainsmen golfers of 1983. After a brief hiatus, golf was offered again in 1983 which coincided with the addition of grass greens at the Grant Golf Course. Prior to this, the greens were sand.

The PC Boys Golf Team is headed to the 2026 Class D State Meet at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus, NE. Today includes travel and some time chipping, putting and driving at the course. Tomorrow they will get in a practice round. Wednesday and Thursday are competition days.
