It's my last day today. Been out litter picking with other agencies and chatting to the locals in the Inkerman St area of #Bacup. It's great to see how much better the streets look after just an hour of cleaning.

As many of you will be aware, we have a fast spreading wildfire just off New Line necessitating a multi agency response with specialist vehicles. Please keep away from the area while responders try to get the fire under control. #Bacup

Great to be part of ⁦@LancashireFRS⁩ first live wildfire burn team deployment from ⁦@BacupFire⁩ to use fire as a tool to manage fire, created fire breaks and offensive burns to manage wildfire in Whitworth supported by other ⁦wildfire units /crews

We're resuming as we're no longer required at #Whitworth. Fire looks to be under well control by LFRS and GMFRS. Now onto another job in the queue awaiting deployment.

It's going to be one of those shifts. We're now heading out to assist with traffic control for @LancashireFRS as they deal with a grass fire. #Whitworth

Starting my last set of evenings weekend shifts. Working with a PC today. In the first 90 mins we've been to two emergency incidents in #Haslingden and #Rawtenstall and a concern for welfare in #Waterfoot.
