I am joined today with PC Colton out on foot patrol. We’ve had a walk round the Southbrook, Country park & town centre.
Bumped into Maisie & Henry 🐶 🐶
I now look like I’ve been rolling around in mud.
Myself and PC Faint have just been out on foot patrol. We’ve patrolled The Inlands, Stefan Hill, The grange and Brauntston road.

@DTCranger I helped a man work out how to wear his mask & glasses today.
He had it on, but it wouldn’t stay up and his nose was poking out glasses were steaming up and he was unsteady on his feet.
With a bit of help, he is now protecting himself and others.
Perfect example of help 👍🏼
I’ve issued two other tickets this week to people failing to wear a face mask when necessary.
Please if you are going out to get your shopping you ensure you don’t forget your mask & if your collecting a takeaway make sure you and the staff have masks on. 😷 @DTCranger
@NorthantsLive@NorthantsPolice@DaventryPolice 2 people were originally there when spoken to along with homeowners. Tickets issued. Instinct was there were others inside,so vehicle was put through the system and addresses came back matching so we re knocked the door and asked the others avoiding us to come out. 4 more given
Kirsten and I were deployed to a “House party today in Daventry.
8 people issued with covid fines, including the homeowners.
It took 2 visits and a bit of digging to make sure we’d found everyone inside trying to avoid us.

Daventry Town Council ladies are packing up shortly. Couple of days off will go down a treat! 🎄
Have a safe and healthy christmas everyone! ☺️@DTCranger
Look at this dogs face. Loving life ☺️
Introductions to Maisie today on Sheaf street
& yes she does have Santa riding on her back l. I didn’t choose the outfit 😂
An old face returns to Daventry for just a day! Old as in hasn’t worked here for a while 👮🏻♂️ 👮🏼
Lucky me, I get to work with Gary Gary for a few hours.
Visited lots of the shops in town today and spoke with quite a few people whilst out!
Plus it stopped raining 🌧
Just had a magical moment on shift.
Myself & PC 683 just reunited a 92 year old woman with treasured paintings her husband did, following them being burgled January 2019.
Her face lit up and her happiness was so evident, especially when we learnt her husband has passed 💙
Good work today: CCTV operator monitoring a suspected shop lifter driving around in a vehicle within the town centre.
My colleague 926 Brown assisted me to gather details.
He had no license, surprisingly no insurance and to top it off was issued with a covid ticket. 👮🏼♀️ 👮🏼♀️
Showing @DSLVNews some support this afternoon. Showed up unannounced to speak with the students outside and on the bus.
Pleasantly surprised that all were wearing masks when needed and very respectful.
2 nice ladies drove past me earlier just as I was walking back to the station. They shouted “excuse me”and instantly I thought oh no!
She then went on to say.. “we really really appreciate you and thank you” Just what I needed at the time. It made me😊
Kind words go a long way.
Lots of the shops have had a visit either yesterday or this morning from @DTCranger and I.
Covid 19 isn’t going away any time soon, so please keep on supporting the shops and cafes but make sure you wear a mask when needed.
If you don’t wear a mask you could be fined £200 😷
All waters around the UK are cold enough to induce the cold shock effects, even in high summer..
As your muscles cool, your strength, endurance and muscle control reduces to the point when you can’t swim any longer so can’t rescue yourself...
