Question for #WritingCommunity...is it just a ton more bots now? I've been gone 2 years. Noticing a lot more people asking questions/ offering to repost book ads...but the grammar does not suggest real authors writing these. Case in point, 3 different users recently posted this:
If I'm writing horror, preferably all π
Otherwise, really not that many! I've noticed a pattern that I often have a couple of deaths early on or before the narrative starts, then much of the rest of the story is coming to terms with that.
How about y'all?
it started out as such an exciting hero's journey--
life, you know.
I stand washing dishes.
even after I'm done there's no point in drying off: the roof leaks and if I complain they just get someone new and more hungry.
did Joseph Campbell mention this?
what comes next?

@lau_Auth Thank you Laura for creating this great list of future reads!
I just want to put out there that the first book in my dark queer romance trilogy Mad & Luke is free to download this weekend, and all are always free with #kindleunlimited

"Hi to my old #vss365 buddies! Back to writing, so I'm back on here. π"
I read and reread the message on my phone, stepping over him each time I paced in the front hall. I would have sent each of them a #postcard instead, but there are drawbacks to killing your mailman.
Hi Twitter! This seems like a great place to get rational, level-headed advice from people who clearly have my best interests at heart. Can't wait to have some positive and productive discussions!

Hey all, if you like weird writing-y stuff (and I know you do), why not follow my fictional new account @butshouldI.
Sort of choose your own adventure, #collaborativestorytelling with #dalleMini AI generated art. I think it'll get scary and fun.
"I #saw#leeches!"
"Now Doctor, you know they're back in vogue for keeping up blood flow in reattachments.
Why so squeamish?"
"You don't understand!
They're huge, monstrous pets. That patient was drained before my very eyes.
Worse.
He knows I #saw!"

"If old bones hold memories, can we use your powers to talk with them and learn who this person was?"
"Oh, bones don't tend to know a lot about the individuals. They're buried in muscle and flesh mostly. After all that rots away, they gain a clearer perspective."

The biggest culture shock yet: her new neighbors called cyclones "hurricanes," and gave them each cute names.
When the city provided plywood to protect windows, they used it to make a little boat, so they could go out in the flood for beer and cigs. And get on the news.

@WordsofRABlack To be honest, I crave more quiet nights at home with Luke and the gang. My favorite always used to be playing on stage, shirtless and sweaty during one of our most fast-paced bangers. Still love those moments, but they take so much work. Plus, being in public is... complicated.
Happy #chtakeover! I think I'll turn my focus today to Madden Aldo "Maddy" "Summer" Somers. I really can't give a character a simple name to save my life.
(P.S. #freebooks: The whole first book is free on #Kindle for everyone this weekend, and always free with #KindleUnlimited)
His arrival was met with faint cries for help. Tired from the day's showings, he first blamed delirium. The sobs continued and he followed them into a room. Weak thumps hit the floorboard. His stomach sank as he eyed the #carpet, peeling it back to reveal a locked door. #vss365
