Because the rules were different last year and now they have changed them to favor a five laws conference champion. The old role was it went to the five highest ranked conference champions. Now if you win the championship of your conference, you’re guaranteed in for only the power for conferences and the The G5 conferences have no guarantee anymore because their conferences are super weak. So they are now showing preferential treatment to power for conference champions no matter how bad their record is and hopefully the ACC changes their tiebreaker so they don’t let in a five lost team for their conference champion and recognized that Miami was the better team and should’ve been playing in that conference championship and would’ve won an earned the auto bid that they deserved.
@E4intelligence@DanWolken@ESPNBooger They weren’t in the ACC when they won those national championships I think is what he was getting at. They’ve been in the ACC for 23 years and haven’t won an ACC championship.
I don’t know Alabama lost to Oklahoma then beat them in a rematch
Alabama beat Georgia and then Georgia beat them in the rematch
But I guess there was no way Notre Dame was gonna beat Miami in a rematch cause once you lose once it’s over right? you can’t beat the team that beat you. (See above )
Could’ve been determined in an end of year rematch to see who improved more.
What is the importance of playing in the conference championship if they don’t matter? Apparently it’s just an excuse because Oregon didn’t play in a conference championship and their best win was a loss to Indiana.
Oklahoma did not play a conference championship
Ole Miss did not play in a conference championship
Miami did not play in a conference championship
So again, tell me the importance of playing in a conference championship?
Also ask BYU about changing from independent to joining a conference and playing in a conference championship for them
@FathersForSons1@NDrecruiting01 So I educated you by answering your question and then you asked another question implying that Notre Dame does cause you wondered if any other team did that
@FathersForSons1@NDrecruiting01 Also, they didn’t quit. They’re just not gonna participate and let some company that campaigned against them to help them earn money. It’s a business lesson don’t help people that are out to hurt you
