6/6/26 #Yorkshire - It's small, it's white, and it's an #orchid so I guess that's why it's called the Small White Orchid (Pseudorchis albida). Unfortunately this charming species has undergone huge declines in the UK and there are few sites where it's doing well #wildflowerhour

6/4/26 #OrchidsofRhodes - The Sawfly #Orchid (Ophrys tenthredinifera s.l.) has a distribution across the mediterranean and many forms can be identified. On Rhodes in April we can find Ophrys korae (L) and Ophrys leochroma (R) - and side by side there are considerable differences
