Tina Kotek is not your candidate. Tina Kotek is a far left progressive democrat whose policies largely overlap with those pursued by the Democratic Socialists of America.

Tina Kotek has pushed taxes that disproportionately impact the lower and middle classes (e.g., her transportation tax) while resisting change to taxes like Oregon’s death tax, which is now affecting the average Oregon homeowner due to the rising value of homes. Also Oregon’s CAT tax (Oregon’s hidden sales tax).

Homelessness, vagrancy, drug abuse, etc. have worsened dramatically. The streets are dirtier and less safe than when she took office.

Our education system is at or near the bottom in the
Most important metrics (e.g., 4th grade reading).

Tina Kotek has supported Measure 114 (at one point dubbed America’s Most Extreme Anti-Firearm law). She is no supporter of our constitutional right to bear arms.

I understand you do not like the idea of voting for a Republican any more than I would like the idea of voting for a Democrat. I think it’s worth pointing out to you that Christine Drazan is also nominated by Oregon’s Libertarian Party and is a center-right moderate who is likely much closer to you on the political compass than Tina Kotek. But I get it.

However, your friends to your political right ask that you judge Kotek by one thing this year: her record.

Has Tina Kotek made Oregon a better place to live, work, raise a family, and retire than it was previously? If you agree the answer is NO, we ask that you consider a change and let Christine Drazan bring Oregon back into moderation… especially fiscally.

The high taxes and spending sprees cannot continue forever!

A community that makes up roughly one percent of the population is steadily building real institutional power at every level of government: city halls, state legislatures, and Congress.

The pattern is clear, the numbers are climbing, and most Americans still have no idea it is happening.
