Cooking tips you should know:

How do we write one? Don’t forget some of the skills (hard and soft) we wrote down in our first class. If you missed that thread, go and read it now

Many ways to write your About section but I like breaking it down into:

- Personalized introduction
- What you do
- Why you do it
- Your Skill sets (technical, domain, hard and soft skills)
- CTA

To do this, copy at least 5 job description of the target role and some of the skills required Go to ChatGPT and enter this prompt

“Act like a LinkedIn consultant that helps people get their dream jobs through LinkedIn optimization. Write an about section for a LinkedIn profile with the following summary but following the template below. Here are some things you should Know:

Understand Your iPhone Camera Lenses And What They Do.

Before you start recording, it’s important to know what each camera lens on your phone does. Most modern iPhones have two or three rear camera lenses, and each one serves a different purpose.

There are about two or three camera lenses on your phone , one is ultra wide, one is for portrait, cinematic/telephoto and the other is the main camera (depending on the phone you’re using).

The top camera is the wide lens that is 0.5x, the second camera lens that is the one below is the fusion lens/main which is 1x and zooms up to 3x, and the camera on the side is the telephoto lens and is 5x (try this by opening your camera, use your finger to block each camera lens to test it)

How to Identify Each Lens
1. Open your Camera app.
2. Switch between 0.5x, 1x, and 5x.
3. Cover each lens with your finger one at a time and observe which view is blocked.

The camera below is where you ought to look at when you’re recording yourself with the back camera. If you’re using the front camera, look directly into the camera lens rather than at your face on the screen. This creates stronger eye contact with your audience.

1. Ultra-Wide Lens (0.5x)
- Usually used when you want to capture more of the scene.
- Great for landscapes, architecture, group shots, and tight spaces.
- Creates a wider field of view than the main camera.

2. Main/Fusion Lens (1x)
- This is your primary camera and the one you’ll use most often.
- Produces the best overall image quality in most lighting conditions.
- Depending on your iPhone model, it can zoom up to about 3x while maintaining good quality.
- If you’re recording yourself with the rear camera, this is generally the lens you should look toward.

3. Telephoto Lens (5x)
- Designed for zooming in on distant subjects without physically moving closer.
- Ideal for portraits, cinematic shots, events, and capturing details from a distance.
- Creates a more compressed, professional-looking background.

Summary,
- 0.5x (Ultra-Wide): Wide scenes, room tours, and environmental shots.
- 1x (Main/Fusion): Everyday videos, talking-head content, and general photography.
- 3x–5x (Telephoto): Portraits, cinematic shots, and subjects that are farther away.

Knowing which lens to use and where to look while recording instantly make your videos feel more professional and engaging.

Ask yourself better questions like:

- What type of businesses do I already understand a little?
- What business owners do I have access to?
- What repetitive problems do I notice people complaining about?
- Which businesses are already making money and can afford automation?
- Can I clearly explain how my automation will save them time, reduce errors, or increase sales?
- Do I enjoy working with this type of business?
- Can I build 2–3 useful automation examples for this industry?

Your niche will become clearer after you start building and talking to business owners..

For now, don’t overthink it..

Pick problems before picking niches..

Here's some Assignment to do if you care to..

= Assignment 1: Pick 3 industries

Choose any 3 industries around you. For example:
- Ecommerce vendors
- Real estate agents
- Coaches/consultants
- Logistics businesses
- Clinics
- Schools
- Small agencies

= Assignment 2:
List 10 repetitive tasks for each industry
Ask yourself:

“What does this business do every day that is repetitive, manual, stressful, or easy to forget?”

= Assignment 3:
Build 1 simple automation for each industry

Don’t build something too complex. Start with simple workflows like:
- WhatsApp lead capture to Google Sheet
- New form submission to Gmail/Telegram notification
- Appointment reminder system
- Order tracking sheet automation

= Assignment 4:
Turn each automation into a mini case study
Even if it’s a demo project, document it like this:

- The business problem
- The manual process
- The automation you built
- The tools used
- The result or expected result

= Assignment 5:
Talk to 10 business owners
Don’t pitch immediately. Ask questions first.
Ask them:

- What part of your work takes too much time?
- Where do you lose customers?
- What do you currently do manually?
- What would you love to automate if possible?
- How do you currently handle leads, orders, follow-ups, and customer support?

Their answers will show you where the money is..

The truth is, your niche is not something you always choose from your head.

Sometimes, your niche reveals itself through the problems you solve, the people who respond to you, and the industry that starts paying you.

So my advice is start broad, build proof, talk to people, study their problems, then narrow down later..

Don’t focus on becoming “the automation guy for one niche” too early..

First become the person who can identify business problems and build useful systems..

That skill will help you in any niche..
