People mad about artist denying comms for xyz reasons out here complaining about artist "virtue signaling". Is telling an artist to accept a commission client that they are uncomfortable with so they can help that person not "virtue signaling"? Lol.

@peachyseraphim Artist can get to know their clients better by looking at their submitted references. A single Ai generated reference sheet doesnt work the same way imo.

Even before Ai you shouldn't just be referencing a single art piece. That's how people got called out for plagiarism.

Remember before AI slop era when people used to quickly organize collages of characters from anime & video games they like as references to use for their commission? Wasn't that a thing? 🧵

Don't skip steps in the process that could make the artist final result better.
