"Following Jake Thompson’s injury in today’s game, he is expected to miss the start of the season.
Further imaging is required before an estimated timeline for his return to play can be confirmed.
Our current priority is confirming the severity of his injury and his early-stage rehabilitation."
Manager @Clayts15 and Sports Therapist @PeakMotionST.
Captain Josh Granite’s rehabilitation following his injury during the home game against Worksop in April has continued to progress following the all clear from an external specialist to come out of his brace, meaning he now has the all clear to begin return to play rehabilitation.
Josh can be seen here working with Sports Therapist @PeakMotionST.

During today's match, captain Josh Granite suffered an injury upon landing when competing for the ball.
Josh was assessed upon his return to the changing rooms by Sports Therapist Mo Bailey and is now awaiting a further scan to reveal the full extent of the injury and as such his season has come to a close.
We would like to thank Mo as well as Worksop's medical team for their support as Josh received treatment on the pitch.
We will support Josh on his road to recovery and send our best wishes to him.
Matlock Town are pleased to welcome Mo Bailey to the role of sports therapist.
We asked Mo to introduce herself, and she wrote the following: "I’m joining Matlock Town after working with Belper United since the start of the 2023 season. I started in football in 2019, volunteering with local grassroots football clubs around Matlock.
"I’m a level four sports therapist who is now also studying for a degree in sports therapy and rehabilitation. Outside of football, I also own Peak Motion Sports Therapy in Chesterfield, where I offer sport specific manual therapy."
Welcome to the Gladiators, Mo!
Departing the club is Alex Hancock, who has served as sports therapist since the start of this season. We thank Alex for his time with the Gladiators and wish him all the best for the future.
