We repair these under 'live sett' conditions meaning badgers are not displaced from the sett, the affected area is found and any tunnel section is replaced with pipes and the right of way is back to normal as soon as possible.

Now it is July, we have been doing some repair work under licence to some bridleways that have suffered tunnel collapse, this is where a shallow badger tunnel or chamber gets exposed either by weight of horses or vehicles above causing a hole.

It's badger cub season, sow badgers can move young cubs around a sett or even to another sett, as seen here. Monitoring of setts is a good survey tool learn about it and other aspects of badgers in one of our Training Courses.

It is with a heavy heart we hear of the passing of one of our ex-employees Jonathan. Such a lovely man, so kind, caring and fun, his enthusiasm and smile was infectious. He loved life to the full and we just can't believe he has gone. we send his family and friends love

We got a level 1 badger course today, we teach about the badger, ecology, setts and surveying so are just getting set up and ready for the pupils with a few badger skulls and hair samples on the desks.
