Happy Birthday to @CelticFC founded #OnThisDay in 1887 by Brother Walfrid to help feed hungry children in Glasgow’s East End. From those humble beginnings in St. Mary’s Church Hall we have become a global community whilst remembering our roots born out of hunger & oppression. HH

60 years ago tomorrow (9 March 1965) was a momentous day in Celtic’s history.
Jock Stein took charge as Celtic boss, then only the fourth man to do so.
Stein would become a club legend, revered as Celtic’s greatest manager.

132 years ago today - kicking off at 4pm - Celtic played at the current Celtic Park site for the first time.
It was a sometimes bumpy road that had taken the Bhoys there.
