🔵 Israeli Drone Strike Wounds 10 Outside Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital

An Israeli drone struck a group of Palestinians near the gate of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, wounding 10 people. Tonight, the government brought to the Knesset plenum a law which would officially prohibit the Red Cross from visiting Palestinian prisoners in Israeli torture camps.

MK Galit Distel-Atbaryan of the Likud party, the author of this law, admits publicly that if the red cross visited Palestinian prisoners, it would be a PR disaster for the state of Israel.

The government knows very well that the moment any humanitarian organization sees the marks of torture and inhumane conditions on the Palestinian prisoners, thousands of whom are detained without charge or justification, the facade will crumble. The world will know the cruelty that this government has facilitated. Therefore, they must cover their tracks.

Unfortunately for the government, it can't hide its crimes against humanity forever. I am proud to say that we successfully voted down this law.

Now, I call for the immediate facilitation of humanitarian visits to Palestinian detainees by the Red Cross. Take a stopwatch and start counting. The time for truth is on its way.

Israeli comedian detained at Toronto airport following complaint by Hind Rajab Foundation

Israeli comedian Guy Hochman was questioned for around six hours on Monday after arriving in Canada, following a complaint lodged by the Hind Rajab Foundation. Sources close to Hochman told Israel's Channel 12 that he was detained upon landing at Toronto airport and released only after intervention by the Israeli consulate.

The Hind Rajab Foundation said last week it had submitted a criminal complaint alleging “military propaganda and incitement linked to Israel’s war on Gaza,” referring to videos Hochman filmed with Israeli soldiers during Israel's war on Gaza.

The group says that “these activities led to his recruitment into a role linked to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, an unusual position for a civilian entertainer. In this role, Hochman appeared in military uniform and disseminated messaging that glorified destruction in Gaza, promoted revenge narratives, and contributed to the normalization of war crimes.”

Since October 2023, Israel forcibly transferred 44 Palestinian communities in the West Bank: 433 families – 2,701 people, including 1,226 minors.
13 more communities, comprising 78 families and 452 people, were partially transferred.

The Palestinian residents are forcibly transferred from their homes by a combination of settler violence, military actions, demolitions and land grabs.
Expelling communities and taking over huge swathes of land are part of Israel's efforts to ethnically cleanse the West Bank.
