BREAKING: Peter Obi has called on President Bola Tinubu to either resign or abandon any plan to seek re-election, accusing his administration of failing to address the country’s worsening insecurity and showing what he described as a lack of compassion for victims.
According to the IMF, Bola Tinubu’s administration failed to report 8.8 trillion of public expenditure.
That’s 6.2 billion dollars worth of public spending.
Abacha will probably be wondering why God took him early.

Stanley Ugbagbe is a journalist with @news_chronicle.
Last Wednesday, 4 armed men reportedly arrived his premises in Jikwoyi in a Mitsubishi Pajero #SUV & abducted him. According to neighbours, one of the men was armed with an assault rifle.
@CPJAfrica has expressed concern that @StanleyUgagbe's disappearance could be linked to a recent @SecretsReporter investigation alleging corruption involving a Deputy Governor of @cenbank
The security agencies, including @PoliceNG & @OfficialDSSNG, have denied having custody of him. He is missing.

It’s not a coincidence, it’s propaganda
We were here in 2023 when you demóns bullied Mmesoma, even used DSS to intimidate her.
You accused her of manipulating her UTME result, alleging that she altered her score from 249 to 362 using a fake result slip generated outside JAMB’s official system.
Mmesoma asked you demons to set the exam again and have her write it to defend herself, did y’all ever do it?
The hatred in y’all could not comprehend why a South Easterner scored the highest, and more worrisome, she is from Anambra, the State of Peter Obi.
Guess what?
In 2025, Okeke Chinedu Christian from Anambra became the highest ever scorer with 375.
We have said enough is enough.
We will not sit idle and watch you bastads bring your hatred on our youngsters in the SOUTH EAST.

Quality education for his own brothers and sisters.
Left chess in the slum after gaining global attention and popularity.
Doubled down on his campaign for quality education after recording successes in national and global competitions.
Different men, different perspectives, different purpose.
Wait, he’s openly admitting he flouted a court order, then he’s practically saying a judge told him it doesn’t matter if his agency is wrong or right in a case as long as it’s on her table, they’ll get favorable ruling because he gave her preferential treatment?
Like a sitting judge said her own case supersedes court order? Ha!
In the next 20 years the Southeast will be a reference point in terms of development for other regions of the nation. Aside Alex Onyia, there are other private entities pushing for the development of education in the region.
The region is also producing governors who are performing greatly, compared to governors of other regions.
The Southeast is rising.
Are people aware that Alex Onyia once took up a case against a school in the South West?
Instead of supporting the effort, some people relentlessly attacked him here!
Calling him names, in fact there is a popular account here with the school name calling him tribal slurs.
It eventually got to the point where those opposing the case influenced the very people he was trying to help, leading them to publicly reject and withdraw from the case, forcing him to step back.
That didn’t stop him.
Alex Onyia has consistently called out corruption in universities across the South East. He even took on the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), publicly challenging the institution over its poor infrastructure and conditions.
Beyond speaking out, he created a platform where students can report corrupt lecturers in universities across the region. That initiative has contributed to significant reforms in tertiary institutions in Abia, Anambra, and Enugu.
Whether people agree with him on every issue or not, it’s difficult to deny that he has consistently used his platform to challenge problems in the education sector and he’s right about situating his work in South East.
The idea that if you want to go international or public acceptance then you need to include beyond South East, is an expired narrative that no longer holds water.
We were here when E Money gifted Carter Efe and Peller brand new cars. They destroyed the cars during a live stream, went back to him, and he gave them more money, embraced them, and patted them on the shoulders for a job well done.
Then there is Alex Onyia, who has been doing remarkable work in education across the South East. He continues to identify and support some of the brightest minds, inspire millions of young people to pursue academic excellence, and consistently advocate for better welfare for teachers.
One would hope that influential people like E Money would also channel some of their support toward people like Alex Onyia, rewarding education and those who dedicate themselves to advancing it.
What we invest in today into the South East is what our region will become tomorrow. If we truly want a prosperous South East, we must prioritize education and make the pursuit of academic excellence the standard, not the exception.
