Thank you Shaikera Cavales for adopting our Red Kangaroo joey Gem.
Your adoption helps pay for all the love and care that we provide Gem on a daily basis.
As a wild orphan her future is entirely dependent on the humans who care for her.
You can add yourself to that exalted list!
Are you a bit of a sun lover like Gem?
We have sunny skies forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday.
So come on out and say to hi to our Red Kangaroos who'll be out and sun baking.
☀️☀️☀️
Oh boy have we missed the sunshine!
We are expecting sun on Saturday, Sunday and Monday so take the opportunity to get outdoors and soak up some rays.
☀️
Our Keepers have been working hard to upgrade our Quokka Exhibit and it is finished just in time for the holidays.
We think Quentin is pretty happy with his new digs :D
It's International Mud Day!!
We'd like to give a quick shout-out to our Keepers who brave rain, hail, shine and of course.. mud to give the best possible care to our animals.
Even when that means losing a gumboot in the mud and having to wade to it with only socks on!
Yes we do events!
George the Blue Tongued Lizard getting out and about and meeting people.
What a cutie :)
If you would like to see his smiling face at your next function enquire about our incursion program.
Little Bentley making friends wherever he goes!
Do you reckon Bentley's smile will brighten up your next event?

What a stunner!
Gem our little Red Kangaroo orphan is coming along in leaps and bounds (yes I went there 😂😂).
Make sure you pop in and see her and her comrade Olive this school holidays.
Hard to beat these views....
The winter air gives us a stunning vista over the wetlands.
Come in early in the morning and you will see the local waterfowl gliding through the mist.
Paca the Poser!
Thank you Claire for your snap.
Paca is a bit of an unusual boy, he had a few little birth defects which mean he has slightly awkward teeth and will never grow as big as our other alpacas.
But he packs in a lot of personality and we all love him to bits.
Have you met Ashley?
We have a lot of queries about why we have a "fake koala" on display.
Our boy Ashton loves his teddy, she provided him with company after his friend passed away.
Ashton is a happy, healthy boy now but we leave Ashley with him, just in case he wants a cuddle.
Hard to find a nicer view to wake up to...
Did you know we offer overnight camps?
Explore the Zoo after dark, camp under the stars, learn about our wildlife, help provide enrichment for our animals, and so much more!
