A deeply deserved honor for an incredible soul. 💔
This weekend, our Fire Chief, Shawn M. Snider, was honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, Maryland, where his name now stands among the nation’s bravest.
Chief Snider passed in May 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. He will always be remembered for his strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the Edinburg Fire Department.

Remember the 4 P’s of Cold Weather:
🧓 People: Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly, young children, and those with special needs.
🐶 Pets: Make sure your pets are indoors or have a warm, safe space.
🌱 Plants: Bring potted plants indoors and cover outdoor ones to protect them.
🚿 Pipes: Wrap exposed pipes, insulate outdoor faucets, and drain sprinkler systems.
The cold and possibly wintry weather mix (sleet) is coming. Are you prepared? Please bring your pets inside beginning Sunday evening—since we are expecting some pretty cold temperatures. Remember, if you're cold, so are they!
Halloween is almost here! 🎃👻
