"What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms.”
– Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Madison, December 20, 1787
@CiabanC13980@billybinion@neoavatara If you were abusiness person, you'd understand my statement. Businessmen would have needed to seen a stable tarriff level from one administration to the next by the other party. We lost jobs over decades. Recovering them takes time, not a year.
@CiabanC13980@billybinion@neoavatara You do understand that businesses need a stable business environment and then time to build domestic manufacturing plants, and then hire. The tarriffs were an attempt to re-shore jobs. SCOTUS killed that. My point remains. Had tarrifs stayed in place, it would have created jobs.
@CreativeEar6667@Blueswrap@emeriticus Do you understand that each target has to be approved by a military attorney? There was no intelligence that indicated they had a school there. Do you not know this? This was an unfortunate accident by the US, but worse, negligence by the IRGC for not evaluating the children.
