Chapter One: The Last Ignition

Late October 2025.
A high-desert cabin ten miles outside Taos, New Mexico. The kind of place people go when the world starts feeling too loud.
Dr. Elena Voss sat alone at a scarred wooden table, half-drunk on the cheap bourbon she’d bought in a gas station two towns back. The bottle was warm in her hand. The single desk lamp threw hard shadows across the room and made the empty pizza box look like an altar.
Her laptop screen glowed pale blue. Encrypted Substack. Live. Twelve subscribers.
She leaned in until her breath fogged the webcam.“Dr. Elena Voss, live from the edge of nowhere,” she said, voice cracking. “Three-seventeen a.m. My hands won’t stop shaking.”
She took a swallow. Bourbon sloshed. On the greasy cardboard in front of her she kept drawing—torus equations, Fibonacci spirals, the same forbidden ratios that had gotten every one of her colleagues killed or disappeared in the last six weeks.
The Sharpie scratched like a dying insect.“
They think I don’t see it,” she muttered.
“They think I won’t say it. But the plasma… it’s watching.”

He hasn't done that. Why would anyone allow him forgiveness? The people who fail to comprehend what he actually did, don't count.
