@NatashaCL7 Not the biggest, but one that sticks with me was when I was about 16 and expressed an interest in acting/performance. He said "ugh I hate when guys' girlfriends are actresses". I was always through the lens of "his", it was never "you look pretty" it was "my gf is hot!" 😒
Now that lockdown is over you may be heading out. What a great time to share what you read in our newest volume; Apardjón Volume 2 is officially out!

Hoping to attend a zoom conference tomorrow, is it the norm for attendees to have their cameras on or off? I don't want to be rude with it off but also will need notice if I am to look human
Long-standing @TolkienSociety member Alan Reynolds reminded me of these two early reviews of The #Hobbit, on the left by a TLS reviewer, and on the right by C.S. Lewis of all people! Bilbo the dwarf and Gollum "the fish-man"!!! 😂😂😂
Reading "The Hungry Road" by Marita Conlon-McKenna currently, and noticing some interesting parallels to the fear of illness and contagion experienced at the moment. Historical fiction seeming that bit more gripping, in the current climate!
@queertyyr I get this completely, it's hard when you have a day job too. I've used loads of my holiday time from my day job to do other work, so actual rest feels far off!
