We couldn’t be more excited about the launch of Gemini Pro! We were featured as a development partner by @Google and already have the model supported in @vellum_ai 🔥

According to benchmarks released by Google, Gemini Pro outperforms inference-optimized models such as GPT-3.5 and performs comparably with several of the most capable models currently available in the market.

We recently tested this model comprehensively on a classification task, and it outperformed every other model in the experiment (on accuracy and F-score).

We’ll be sharing the results tomorrow, so stay tuned for an update. The LLM landscape continues to evolve 🚀

NPM updated their incident page, which suggests an upstream provider has failed. Possibly also Auth0.

Hey @airtransat our flight TS9309 from Rome to Toronto has been cancelled for second straight day with NO NOTICE or notifications. No email. No text. No warning. Nothing. A whole plane load of people given no info for two days. Is this what you call customer service??

PSA: @Google is quietly killing 3rd party appointment booking services like @Calendly in favor of their own newly launched competitor...

And of course this "spam prevention" measure doesn't apply to meetings booked through their own new competitive software, which naturally doesn't support any video meetings options but Meet... 🙄

What changed: Google recently auto-opt-in'd most user's to default to NOT show 3rd party invites in calendar UNLESS the booker has previously emailed the host (defeats the point of booking software) or they explicitly accept the invite in email (massively more friction).

It's causing major issues for us @GrainHQ where users book time and assume all is well, but accidentally miss meetings b/c it never appeared on their calendar. It still shows as normal on the booking owner's end...

These moves are so blatantly anti-competitive and anti-consumer... all under the guise of "spam prevention"... which they could easily manage for google accounts using 3rd party booking software.

Any chance @FTC / @TheJusticeDept gets involved to protect consumers?
