A female truck driver has been hijacked along the N4 in Middleburg (MP) yesterday enroute Nylspruit. She works for trucking company, Maysene. The trailer has been recovered in Ekurhuleni, but her and the horse are missing.

Soweto residents are marching to Joburg Mayor Dada Morero's office today to hand over their CVs. They say Morero's proposal to employ foreign nationals as traffic officers shows that there are job openings at the Johannesburg Metro Police Department. Morero, who has since apologised for the proposal, came under fire for the suggestion he made over the weekend. @NqobileMadlala_ speaks to some of the residents.
