SFC Leroy Williams Jr., Pelion High School Army JROTC instructor, serves as a mentor at the nationally recognized Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp this summer at Steve Harvey’s ranch in Georgia. The camp helps young men grow as leaders by focusing on character, responsibility and life skills.

SFC Williams joins mentors from across the country who were selected to guide, encourage and support students through meaningful leadership experiences.
He said he is honored to represent Pelion High, Lexington One and the JROTC community through this opportunity. His selection reflects the daily commitment to leadership, service and mentorship that is central to the Pelion High JROTC program. Congratulations, SFC Williams!

Gooding named the next Principal! 🎉🐾

The Lex One Board of Trustees approved Tracy Gooding as the next principal of Pelion High School. Mr. Gooding will step into his new role this July.
