If I could sum up 2024 in a noun, it would be "Eras Tour". Between being lucky enough to attend with my queen @vii_lauren, watching grainy live streams at all hours of the day and night, playing mastermind and connecting with other swifties on TT. It's been a wild ride!
@HenriettaSnacks Why do we need to compare artists? Especially female ones. Can't they all just be recognised for being absolutely amazing? Vince just has that not so hot take because his manhood is threatened....
Today, we mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
1 in 3 women around the world experience sexual and gender-based violence in their lifetime.
It is a stark reminder of our collective responsibility to end the scourge of gender-based violence.
I just saw some American commented on a post saying "Stay out of our politics, Aussies have their own problems" yes sir we do. And that problem is trolleys!
@jennineak What? No, it's a response to too many young impressionable children taking their lives because of cyber bullying. This was a citizen-led initiative that the government has enacted. The world is fucked but not everything is a conspiracy.
#Breaking: A 22-year-old Mount Gambier man has been arrested over the horror Nangwarry crash, which led to the deaths of a 15-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy.
The man was today charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and four counts of causing harm by dangerous driving.
Three cars collided on Riddoch Highway just before 3pm on Sunday. A black Holden sedan collided with an emu, prompting a Toyota station wagon to brake and avoid the collision.
The 22-year-old in a white Nissan ute then crashed into the rear of the Toyota.
As a result, a five-year-old boy in the Toyota died at the scene. His sister, a 15-year-old girl, died in hospital last night.
The driver will face court tomorrow.
