@PELVITRACK at EUROMECH670 🇫🇷
Chloé Dupray & Beatrice Bisighini presented research on perineal tissue mechanics and birth-related injury prediction.
By linking biomechanics with clinical practice, these studies contribute to the long-term goal of supporting safer vaginal births.

Since the launch of @PELVITRACK, over 1,000,000 women in Europe having their first vaginal birth may have experienced a perineal tear or episiotomy. We're working to change this through better prediction and monitoring. Follow the counter: https://t.co/UtIGykJfG2

Welcome Morgane Devismes to the @Pelvitrack as a post-doc at @Centrale Lille under Olivier Mayeur's supervision! Her expertise in childbirth simulation and foetal musculoskeletal modelling will support developing a shared computational model uniting the consortium’s strengths.
Major milestone for @Pelvitrack! From 4-6 NOV, our WP2 teams met at FEMTO-ST for an intensive campaign testing devices predicting pelvic floor tissue damage. Unique tests,new data & great collaboration across the consortium.Huge thanks to all involved! #EICPathfinder#Pelvitrack
We are pleased to announce the release of the official PELVITRACK - an EIC Pathfinder Project video, now available on our website.

Big milestone! Our @IMTMinesAles team tested the @PELVITRACK system inside a real delivery room to check if everyday hospital devices (monitors, phones, bed motors…) interfere with our tech.
Thanks to Centre Hospitalier Alès for the support 🙌
One step closer to safer births!
@IMTMinesAles team visited @LMA_UMR7031 for microtomography 🔬 of perineal tissues .These observations bring us closer to understanding pelvic floor structure &mechanics.🙏 Thanks to Francesco Digeronimo (@tcddublin ) for the custom micro-CT holder! @TrionaLally@btornifoglio
